Sedbergh is a town in Cumbria, with a population of 2,765. It is situated 10 miles east of Kendal and 28 miles north of Lancaster.
Sites of interest in the town include St Andrew's Church, which is a Grade I listed building and dates from the sixteenth-century, although it was restored in 1885-6. Ingmire Hall is a Grade II listed sixteenth-century country house 2 miles west of the town. St Gregory's Church is a redundant Grade II listed Anglican church constructed during the 1860s. Sedbergh is an official book town and there are a number of bookshops and dealers in the town.
Schools in the area include Settlebeck School. Sedbergh School is a co-educational independent boarding school founded in 1525.
